Special education at Ben Rush provide students who have disabilities with specially designed instruction and provides access to the general education curriculum. The program serves kindergarten to fifth grade students. The services are delivered in a variety of models based on individual student needs.

Accessing special education services starts with referring any student with a suspected disability to the guidance team. Guidance team is a part of Child Find, a district program that locates, evaluates and provides services for school age children who may have a disability.
